Osteora
Explore our top-tier orthopedic power tools, instrument sets, and implantable systems designed for human and veterinary applications.
Osteora Medical Devices Co., Ltd. is a premier, professionally recognized orthopedic implant and surgical solution manufacturer. We specialize in design, precision manufacturing, and clinical applications of high-performance trauma, spinal systems, and joint reconstruction technologies under the internationally trademarked brand Osteora.
Founded in 2016, our production plant spans an impressive 18,500㎡. We integrate research, design, class III cleanroom packaging, and multi-axis mechanical testing to ensure every implant adheres to global regulatory requirements. By deploying medical-grade PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) polymer, we produce suture anchors that provide unmatched biomechanical reliability, excellent pull-out resistance, and artifacts-free medical imaging post-operation.
With 12 years of industry expertise and 8 years of export operations, Osteora connects surgical centers and distributors globally. Our annual export revenue stands at USD 6 million to 14 million, supported by 1,200 reliable partners.

Why modern sports medicine surgeons prefer Polyetheretherketone over titanium and bioabsorbable materials.
PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) is a high-performance thermoplastic polymer that has revolutionized the field of sports medicine. Compared to conventional titanium alloy suture anchors, PEEK offers a modulus of elasticity (approx. 3.6 GPa) that closely matches human cortical bone (15-20 GPa). This similarity minimizes "stress shielding"—a phenomenon where overly rigid metal implants absorb all mechanical loads, causing surrounding bone tissue to resorb and weaken over time.
Furthermore, PEEK is completely radiolucent. In postoperative MRI and CT scans, titanium anchors produce significant scattering and artifacts, which can obscure critical clinical assessments of soft tissue healing. PEEK anchors generate zero imaging artifacts, enabling surgeons to accurately monitor the interface between the tendon and the bone.
| Property Parameter | Medical-Grade PEEK | Titanium Alloy (Ti-6Al-4V) | Bioabsorbable (PLDLA / TCP) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Elastic Modulus (GPa) | 3.5 - 4.0 (Matches Cortical Bone) | 110 - 115 (Very High Stiffness) | 6.0 - 8.0 |
| MRI & CT Compatibility | Excellent (Radiolucent, No Artifacts) | Poor (High Metallic Distortion) | Excellent |
| Biomechanical Stability | Permanent, High Pull-Out Strength | Permanent, High Strength | Degrades over 12-24 months |
| Inflammatory Response | Minimal / Chemically Inert | Minimal | Variable (Acidic degradation products) |
| Revision Surgery Ease | Easy (Can be drilled through) | Difficult (Requires removal) | Easy |

How Osteora PEEK Suture Anchors support orthopedic surgeons and hospitals across key therapeutic procedures.
Designed to provide high initial fixation stability in proximal humeral bone beds. Double-thread profiles prevent anchor migration under cyclic loads during physical therapy.
Micro-sized suture anchors (down to 2.8mm diameters) allow safe insertion into the narrow glenoid rim without compromising bone integrity or risk of articular cartilage penetration.
Ideal for Achilles tendon reattachment and lateral ligament stabilization. Biocompatible PEEK is resistant to high shear forces in weight-bearing structures.
Our PEEK suture anchors feature an eyelet design that reduces suture abrasion during knots tightening. When combined with ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) non-absorbable sutures, they provide high knot security and tissue approximation. This is critical for healing at the enthesis, where soft tissue integrates back into the bone matrix.
Combining automated production, rigorous testing, and localized raw material access to secure your supply chain.
Osteora's manufacturing model leverages advanced industrial facilities in China. By using Swiss-type CNC automatic lathes and HAAS vertical machining centers, we keep dimensional tolerances within +/- 0.005mm. This high level of repeatability is crucial for implantable components.
Furthermore, our supply chain incorporates 1,200 upstream and downstream partners. This ecosystem ensures raw materials, medical-grade sterilizations, custom packaging, and shipping options remain stable and unaffected by market fluctuations.
Through vertically integrated manufacturing processes, we bypass intermediary costs, offering distributors high-quality medical devices at competitive price points. This efficiency helps healthcare providers manage operational margins without compromising on clinical performance.
Securing cross-border registrations with ISO 13485, CE Class III documentation, and localization expertise.
We provide comprehensive technical files, including biocompatibility reports (ISO 10993), sterilization validation (ISO 11135 / ISO 11137), and mechanical fatigue testing data, supporting smooth regulatory filings globally.
We offer tailor-made sizes, thread geometries, and materials. Our private labeling (OEM) and joint-design (ODM) services are backed by 85 R&D engineers to support your specific product launches.
Our exports division handles regulatory compliance for major markets, including Europe, South America, and the Middle East, ensuring safe and predictable delivery times.
Our commitment to continuous innovation in polymer technologies and orthopedic solutions.
Osteora's research division focuses on enhancing the bioactivity of PEEK materials. Standard PEEK is bioinert, which can result in a fibrous encapsulation interface rather than direct bone contact. To address this, our future product development plans include:
